Or don't worry about it and eat well the rest of the day/week/etc.
I think our society does need to downsize. we have too many extra large servings. I think that's key, downsize and enjoy in moderation. Lets supersize the veggies instead!Cotter Crunchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03611248979567119138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5287299798491768678.post-34784020377064750302013-01-19T12:20:20.529-05:002013-01-19T12:20:20.529-05:00I, like Rae above am torn. I guess it'll take baby steps to educate people and steer them toward better choices. I don't think I'm articulating myself very well this morning, hope that made sense. Thanks as always for your wonderful thought provoking post Gina. Have a great weekend. When other people's decisions end up effecting my own health, and the health of my family, I feel like I agree with the bans....you know? I love that I can go to a restaurant and not get second hand smoke, because before the ban I had no choice, I had to breath it in, and that was not due to any decision of my own.Gina; The Candid RDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13034788087113648183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5287299798491768678.post-24892505154868337672013-01-18T09:31:57.088-05:002013-01-18T09:31:57.088-05:00I'm torn on this - because I don't believe...I'm torn on this - because I don't believe it should be the governments responsibility to govern what food or drink I have. In my opinion, I should have enough self control to decide for myself what is best for my body. It saddens me that people are not doing this - so I can see if push comes to shove, the government thinks they have to corral people into forcing them to do the right thing. Again, really torn on this.Rae Rae Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15429458377690562709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5287299798491768678.post-87674114784304390952013-01-18T09:28:32.271-05:002013-01-18T09:28:32.271-05:00I love the smoking ban in our city! Even if you are sitting in the 'non-smoking' section, you can still smell the smoke!
My office provides free snacks (it's a small office) and lately they have been moving from snack cakes and chips to fruits and other healthy options which has really helped me.
